About Mike

Michael Galam is a product and brand designer based in Honolulu, Hawaii. With experience spanning robotics, SaaS, and startup environments, he specializes in building brands and products from the ground up.

His work at Formant defined the visual identity and product experience for a cloud robotics platform used by teams operating autonomous robots worldwide. Before that, he built brand identities and product interfaces for startups tackling everything from workplace safety to creative tools.

Outside of design, Mike is an avid scuba diver, photographer, and traveler with deep connections to Ethiopia and the Hawaiian islands. He believes in building things that matter, staying human in an AI-augmented world, and the power of showing up with authenticity.
